F.A.M.I.L.Y - Father and Mother I Love You

An 80 year old man was sitting on the sofa in his house along with his 45 years old highly educated son. Suddenly a crow perched on their window.

The Father asked his Son, "What is this?"

The Son replied "It is a crow".

After a few minutes, the Father asked his Son the 2nd time, "What is this?"

The Son said "Father, I have just now told you "It's a crow".

After a little while, the old Father again asked his Son the 3rd time, What is this?

At this time some expression of irritation was felt in the Son's tone when he said to his Father with a rebuff.. "It's a crow, a crow".

A little after, the Father again asked his Son the 4th time, "What is this?"

This time the Son shouted at his Father,"Why do you keep asking me the same question again and again, although I have told you so many times 'IT IS A CROW'. Are you not able to understand this?"

A little later the Father went to his room and came back with an old tattered diary, which he had maintained since his Son was born. On opening a page, he asked his Son to read that page. When the son read it, the following words were written in the diary :-
"Today my little son aged three was sitting with me on the sofa, when a crow was sitting on the window. My Son asked me 23 times what it was, and I replied to him all 23 times that it was a Crow. I hugged him lovingly each time he asked me the same question again and again for 23 times. I did not at all feel irritated I rather felt affection for my innocent child".

While the little child asked him 23 times "What is this", the Father had felt no irritation in replying to the same question all 23 times and When today the Father asked his Son the same question just 4 times, the Son felt irritated and annoyed.

So..

If your parents attain old age, do not repulse them or look at them as a burden, but speak to them a gracious word, be cool, obedient, humble And kind to them. Be considerate to your parents. From today say this aloud, "I want to see my parents happy forever. They have cared for me ever since I was a little child. They have always showered their selfless love on me. They crossed all mountains and valleys without seeing the storm and heat to make me a person presentable in the society today".

Nothing in this world is IMPOSSIBLE ,,, coz the word IMPOSSIBLE itself says I M POSSIBLE.

MY NOTE:
The story above was taken from a forwarded e-mail's article. I found that it's very true that children always treat their "old" parent as their burden. It's true that, for some times, they are very "silly" to you, however they wished their children could cheer them as their children are the closest and heartiest one to them.

There's one personal question that I would like to ask every reader. Did you ever say "thank you" to your parent? Or word such as "I LOVE YOU" which you used it for your girlfriend/boyfriend to your parent?

If you never do, please do so.. It meant a lot to them.. I came to realise that a lot of time, as a child, we always forgot that our parent are in fact the one who sacrificed a lot for us.

It's very true that "A mother can take care of 10 children but 10 children cannot even take care of a mother". That's the power of love from our parent. Even until now, I couldn't really take care of my parent even if I am a grown up guy. I only wished if there's something to cheer them up from time to time. As least I did my part.

So now, think again about everything. Your parent might had disagree a lot with you, not supportive enough to you, or too "fussy" to you.. But did you ever think that they did it just because they care about you and they love you? I believe there's only problem when a family is lack of "communication". Do communicate with your family and you'll understand.

I am not a perfect son, but I'll try to be one for my parent.

Daddy, Mommy, I LOVE YOU!

Protect yourself from "special visitors" in Hotel

Every single hotel, there shall be at least a permanent room which should be left vacant at all times. No matter how full the hotel is, they are not to sell that room(s) to any guest. It is said that the special room was "reserved" for those "special visitors".

So, if you plan to stay in some hotel, always book in advance. Try to avoid walk in. If the receptionist told you there's no more room available, do not insist one anymore or try to bribe them to give you a room. If you do that, most of the time the room you have will be that "special room".

Sometimes those "special visitors" might go to other rooms also, so here's tips on how to protect yourself:
- Before entering your room, always knock on the door first, even you know the room is vacant.
- After you enter the room, if you feel very cold suddenly and have "chicken spores", leave the room quietly immediately and go to reception to request to change room. Most of the time the receptionist will understand what's happening.
- After you enter the room, immediately switch on all of the lights, and open the curtain to let the sun light in.
- Before you go to bed, arrange your shoes so that one of them is upside down. Some say this is representing yin & yang to protect you while you're asleep.
- Always leave at least a lamp on while you're sleeping, preferably the lamp in the toilet.
- If you're staying alone and they have given you a twin bed, do not sleep with the other bed vacant, try to put your things like luggage on the other bed before you sleep.

MY NOTES:
I had heard a lot rumours regarding this matter. There is no right or wrong for this type of things. You may choose to not believing it. Somehow, you won't loss anything even if you did try it.
I guess this is quite a nice article as all the tips are exactly the same as the rumour I had heard. Even one of my uncle whose friend owned a hotel told him the same thing. Without this "special visitor" in the hotel, the hotel won't be "stable". Unfortunate things might happen if they did not worship them.
However, these are just one of the beliefs. Believe it or not, it's actually up to you.
